From April 12 to 18, 2026, an international trade union exchange took place in Frankfurt am Main and Mainz between the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine and the German Trade Union of Education (GEW).

The annual conference of the National Education Union (NEU) of the UK recently concluded in Brighton. The event is traditionally held once a year and this year brought together up to 1,600 delegates, representatives of districts, sectors, and equality groups, as well as international guests.

The International Summit on the Teaching Profession (ISTP) 2026 took place on March 8-11, 2026, in Tallinn, Estonia. The event was attended by ministers of education and leaders of teachers’ unions from 20 countries around the world.

On December 17, 2025, the 10th Congress of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine was held in videoconference format. Headed by Trade Union President Georgiy Trukhanov and Deputy Presidents Liubov Harbarenko, Serhiy Romaniuk, Olha Chabaniuk, Serhiy Puhachov, and Dmytro Chomko, the congress was attended by delegates from regional organizations and invited guests. In total, the online event brought together over 120 participants.

The Ukrainian-American project “The Impact of Trauma and How It Affects Behavior and Learning: What Teachers Should Know”, jointly implemented by the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Ukraine and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT), has been successfully completed.
